Your Destination for Animated Christmas Lighting Display Advice
For Christmas 2008 we collected 242 cans of food and $582 in cash for our church's Mercy Ministry outreach program. The cash we collected is being used by our church to buy food, bus tickets, and life essentials for the local poor people who we minister to through the First Presbyterian Church of Coral Springs/Margate. If you are planning a large Christmas display at your house, it's a great way to use your talents of attracting crowds, to collect food to help those in need. Let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven!
We Switched to High Definition Videos for 2008! In order to actually see these videos below in High Definition, you may have to view it on Vimeo's site instead of here, because they want money after so many embedded views on this site in high definition. While your video is playing, if the "HD is on/off " logo on right edge of the video does not say "On", then to see it in high definition, just click on that logo. A link pops up to the high definition version on Vimeo. Wizards In Winter by Trans-Siberian Orchestra (TSO) We Three Kings from "Book Of Love"

Last year at Christmas a miracle happened in my kitchen. After months of research and experimentation, I finally came up with the recipe for the most perfect tasting, moist tender meat turkey ever. Read my full how-to with complete pictorial and step by step recipe that still has my family talking about it, along with my gravy a year later. Click Here or on the photo to read it.
Here's a sneak peak of what we have so far. I still have not put out the arches, or finished my Bellagio fountain simulations. 11/25/2008: We started putting our 2008 Christmas lights out today! Wow, it's that time again! Today we rented a cherry picker lift for the first time. It cost only $100 for a day. We decided this year to really wrap the palm trees all the way up, and to add light strings to the palm fronds and the neighbors are raving. Our latest eye opener this year is my 18 foot tall snowflake cascade between the 2 palm trees. I built the support structure out of PVC. My 18 foot tall snowflake cascade fixture is on the driveway laid out before we installed it. ![]() I'm in my rented cherry picker lift, wrapping net lights and strings on the palm trees. See the new beta testing of my simulated Bellagio fountains. Below you'll see the first of what will be about a dozen 10 foot tall PVC pipes wrapped with 1600 LED lights each, broken into 8 channels, each synchronized to music. This first fixture below was a 4" PVC pipe. See the Light-O-Rama controller at the left of the base of the Bellagio Fountain fixture. Here's a video that shows off my simulated Bellagio Fountain fixture in action:

My final FPL electric bill for December 2007 was only $281, and only $42 more than November, 2007. Compare that to August, 2007, our hottest month, my bill was $351. In 2007 I almost doubled the number of lights, but now they are 100% LED, and for December I used only 2290 KWH, much less than prior years. LED Christmas lights really do save energy. We used 2902 KWH in 2006, and 3387 KWH for December 2005. Our lights came down on January 6, 2008. We like to give folks who were out of town a chance to get back home and see our lights. Thanks to all who left food and cash donations for our church First Presbyterian Church of Margate/Coral Springs. We raised $512 in cash for our church mercy ministry, and over 95 items of food. All of that is used to directly help those in our community and congregation who could not otherwise buy food. We buy them food and give grocery store gift cards and disable alcohol and tobacco purchases. When you get here to our house, tune your car radio to 100.9 MHz to hear music that our Christmas lights are sequenced to.How To Get Here: Click Here for directions Visit Our Other Consumer Advocate Sites: Our sister site Bridaltips.com gives you all the tips you need to plan your wedding, including our guide How to choose a diamond engagement ring and avoid scams.
